I am Aurélie and I come from Soissons, a small city in the North of France. I have lived in different regions of France (Reims - the Champagne region and Strasbourg, famous for its Christmas market) as well as abroad (Ipswich, UK - Melbourne and Sydney, Australia - Germany).
When I have free time, I like hiking, drinking a glass of white wine with my friends or spending time with my 6 year-old nephew. I am learning German right now though I am still a beginner. Yo como profesor
I've been teaching languages for almost 10 years. I fell in love with teaching when I was working as a language assistant in a boarding school in England. I went there after I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English. When I came back to France, I went back to college and graduated with a Master's degree in Foreign Languages Didactics. I worked in France mainly with adults and teenagers. I also worked in the Alliance Française in Sydney and Melbourne while I was in Australia. I've taught people of all level and background. I also have extensive knowledge on the DELF/DALF exam as well as the TCF exam.Mis clases y método de enseñanza
Each lesson has a lexical, grammatical and cultural angle. I use textbooks, exercise books, PDF and Words documents. You don't have to buy a book. I create a document based on a textbook but I usually add more material. I use videos and audio files (dialogues - radio shows - podcasts) as well as newspaper articles adapted to your level. First, we study a document, then we work on the vocbulary and at the end we study a grammatical rule. The lessons are mostly in French (though I am more lenient with beginners).Mi material didáctico

Aurelie is a teacher I feel so comfortable with! She came prepared with a lesson that spoke exactly to the goals I had: improving my pronunciation. She made the lesson fun and practical by reading a newspaper article about the day in the life of a French woman. When she corrects my pronunciation, she is so encouraging, I feel hopeful and like I will learn rather than my norm of being discouraged and ashamed. She is such a positive teacher and inspirational teacher.

Aurélia made me feel so comfortable in the first 30 seconds, I didn’t even try to revert to English. It was my first lesson where I wasn’t too embarrassed to try French. We spent even this initial lesson speaking entirely in French and she filled in with words I didn’t know.
And she spoke slowly so i could understand her, too. Instant report, instant sense of caring and calm and patience.
Aurélia just made learning French fast seem possible and provided such a thoughtful, caring first lesson in a conversational tone.
I highly recommend her!

Ms. Aurélie is a wonderful professor. She is very patient, engaging, and knowledgeable. I am a rather shy person, but I feel comfortable and encouraged to speak French during each class. I feel that I have progressed a lot, especially regarding speaking and comprehension, since taking classes with her.

Merci beaucoup pour les leçons. Mrs. Coelho is always patient and supportive. She is a fantastic teacher and I have been able to improve speaking in just a few lessons. I look forward to more lessons.
