James Tugade

My Tagalog has greatly improved since I've taken classes from Mr. Tugade. He knows that I need help speaking and having those words come out of me because for years, I am able to listen and understand but I reply back in English when I moved to the US. Mr. Tugade has tailored all lessons to my needs, answers all my questions, and has corrected some of my journal writing in Tagalog to make it sound more natural. He is a great, funny, and patient teacher. I feel more confident now speaking Tagalog outside of this class to my mom and dad, to Tagalog speakers at my work, to other relatives, friends, and also texting in Tagalog has become more natural because of the practice that we did in class. James brings a very personalized approach to each lesson. His patience, encouragement, and enthusiasm for teaching Tagalog continues to motivate me to stay committed to learning. Sobrang thankful para kay James. Nag-aaral akong tagalog para sa isang taon at karamihan ang journey ko kasama si James. Pumunta ako sa philippines sa Marso 2014 at hindi ko alam kung nagkaroon akong same experience without tulong si James. Wala akong perpektong tagalog pero I will get there with James' help in the future. Please don't hesitate to book a class with James in whichever language you choose.
