Carina

Carina is very encouraging and very kind. I feel like I have fun in my lessons it does not feel like work. She has made learning Chinese fun and enjoyable

A good lesson that covered a lot of topics. I'm having fun while learning. There were some technical issues so communication was choppy.

Carina is very good at adapting to the student's skill level. We explored new vocabulary and practised it in real life examples, we had freetalk where she or I would ask questions. She sent pictures and asked me to describe, which was very helpful. We also read through several dialoges. Sometimes I would find it challenging with reading through these dialoges, because I get hung up on what a specific word means (even though it doesnt always have the same meaning in english). She helps me understand be bigger picture of the sentence and to get a holistic understanding. I will continue booking lessons with her.

Carina is a very competent and skilled teacher. She is relaxed and easy to talk to and at the same time good at explaining new words or complicated topics when needed.
