Megumi Na

Megumi-sensei is a wonderful teacher. She is kind and encouraging, and her lessons are always interesting and fun. Megumi provides the perfect amount of challenges to keep me motivated but also at ease, and I truly feel like I’m improving thanks to her guidance. She also shares her own Japan travelogues as part of the lesson materials, and these are especially interesting to read, since she highlights regional festivals and legends. I highly recommended Megumi-sensei for all levels of students!

Megumi-san has helped for some time now. In the beginning, I struggled with both speaking and writing and while I learned the rough strokes of many aspects of Japanese grammar, applying them naturally in the right context was difficult. Now, writing messages and diaries has become easy and I can definitely make myself understood. Hence, we have recently started working on my casual vocabulary to go beyond the content typically taught in language classes. This is really a lot of fun! Suddenly, nuances become a lot clearer and it feels like I can get another step closer to truly understanding Japanese language. Thanks, Megumi-san for being patient and encouraging!

I've just completed my third lesson with Megumi sensei and compared to the first one, I'm already using way more Japanese in our conversations with a lot more confidence! She talks very clearly and has a good way of teaching you grammar, vocabulary and cultural facts about Japan without it feeling overwhelming or boring. I look forward to our lessons every week. They're fun and casual, but I'm always surprised how much Japanese I learn in just an hour. Plus, if you want, she can set homework, usually based on the day's lesson that really seems to fill the gaps in your knowledge. I'd recommend her to anyone learning Japanese, even if you're a super beginner like me. Thanks a lot Megumi sensei, see you next week. 👋

Megumi先生のクラスは非常に面白く、日本の文化と自国の文化の違いを会話から理解することができるだけでなく、その違いの原因についての考えも得ることができます。先生の英語も素晴らしいです。複雑な文法や理解が難しい単語については、先生が交差して説明してくれて、初心者にとって非常に助かります。今年の7月にN2試験を受け、合格しました。先生のクラスに参加していただけて光栄です！私の会話、単語、文法の能力がすべて強化されました。どうもありがとうございます！ Megumi's class is very interesting, as it not only allows you to understand the differences between Japanese culture and your own culture through dialogue, but also provides insights into the reasons for these differences. Her English is also excellent. For complex grammar and difficult vocabulary, Megumi explains by cross-referencing, which is very helpful for beginners. I took the JLPT-N2 in July this year and passed smoothly. I am very grateful for the opportunity to attend this class! My conversation, vocabulary, and grammar skills have all been strengthened. Megumi-san is a great teacher. I have been studying Japanese for over 20 years on and off, both on my own and academically, but have lost a lot over the years after marriage and a family. When I am learning with Megumi-san, I never feel judged or made to feel ashamed due to my many mistakes. I have never gotten a chance to speak with anyone until now, and I trip over myself constantly. I love my lessons with Megumi-san. No matter what, I always learn something new and fun, and my speaking is coming along. You will love your lessons, too! I highly recommend Megumi-san!

As always, I greatly enjoyed my lesson with Na-sensei. Today, I learned new words and expressions to greet my friends and coworkers in the new year! Looking back, our lessons this year have greatly improved my confidence in speaking Japanese, and helped me to apply everything I've learned from textbooks, flash cards, etc. Thank you again!!
