Hello! I’m GuoXu, or Gwen. I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Teaching Chinese and have taught in the U.S., Canada, and New Zealand. Now, I’m based in Beijing with international teaching certifications.^_^
I love creating engaging Chinese lessons that help students connect with the language and culture. I’ve studied Japanese, French, and Korean, so I understand the challenges of learning a new language.;-)
I also enjoy art (digital and Chinese painting), music (piano, keyboard, ukulele, violin), traveling, and photography.(^.^)

This was my first lesson after not studying Mandarin in over 6 months. I was really nervous and forgot a lot, but she was super easy to learn from and very nice with her corrections. I can't wait to continue learning from Gwen!
