I've been there...
I've been learning Chinese for quite some time now, and I understand learning a language is no simple task. It takes discipline, perseverance, and a whole lot of time. I have no secrets to being fluent in a month, but I can provide you with support and a comfortable environment to make mistakes and improve on what needs fixing. Remember that 90% of the work is done on your end.

I have worked with students of all ages, from beginners to advanced learners. I work from various resources, but if you decide to work with me long-term, I mainly follow a curriculum set by eslpals. They provide amazing lessons that do a great job of breaking down a topic into digestible pieces and getting students to use all their skills. Of course, if you are following a separate curriculum, I will do my best to get my hands on a copy so we can be on the same page.
I use a teaching methodology called G.A.T.E. to provide quality lessons.
I like to use the GATE method:
G - Great notes
A - Active Correction
T - Teacher / Student Talking Time (30% / 70%)
E - Energy and EnthusiasmMis clases y método de enseñanza
I am flexible to the needs of my students, structuring my lessons based on the goals they have set for themselves. I can also offer homework assignments, which are a great way to retain what you've learned and an excellent way for me to see if you have understood what we covered.
Enjoy the process of learning English, enjoy the struggle, enjoy the achievements. Before you know it, speaking English will just be another thing you do without thinking. Can you imagine effortlessly using English? With hard work, that is your future.

Chris is very patient, and we transferred from italki to tencent meeting for bad internet. He corrected my pronunciation and grammar during our conversation which is I really need. Look forward to the next lesson!

My reference will help those who cannot decide which teacher to choose. I rate Chris's lessons 10/10. I'm even surprised at how he can make homework interesting for me. I hated homework, it was annoying and took up valuable time until I met Chris. I look forward to it for two reasons: firstly, it's a different way of learning English and secondly, I learn from the content of the homework itself, i.e. an interesting topic. Chris supports and motivates me through the homework to improve more and more, not only in English. The lessons are also fun, I am happy that I can understand humour in English and what I appreciate most about Chris is that despite the mistakes I make (ofen 😉) he supports me and says that my English is good. I highly recommend studying with Chris. Thank you Chris a lot 🙏🥳
