Eva was really patient even though I kept on making the same mistake numerous times, and she kindly corrected me each time. I enjoyed having a formal lesson with her and also the opportunity to chat freely like you would with a friend!

Eva has earned the title of my favorite teacher due to her exceptional ability to deliver lessons with utmost conciseness and efficiency. Eva is intelligent, passionate, and fun, all of which contribute to making my learning journey a delightful and productive experience. I am able to make noticeable, steady progress during every class. 🥇

I had my first lesson with Eva and it was really nice. I'm very glad she kept talking in Chinese (even if my brain needed some time to register it fully), because it in turn encouraged me to use my Chinese as much as possible (even if I struggled sometimes). She spoke to me of her methods and we decided on which one would fit me best going forward. I look forward to future lessons and to using my Chinese more! ^^

Great teacher! I have been attending classes now for a few months and my understanding of Chinese is so much better than I ever thought possible. I never imagined I would be able to read Chinese characters so well or so quickly! The reason I have stayed with Eva is her teaching style and personality. She knows when I am just being lazy and pushes me to a higher level of difficulty. Yet this is done in a manner that does not feel overwhelming. She also has an excellent memory on what my weaknesses are and challenges me in every lesson to not become complacent, but to push myself to do better than I currently am. I highly recommend her as a teacher! The progress I have made under her instruction constantly amazes me and my local Chinese-speaking friends!

I have been getting lessons with Eva for a month now and I have been really enjoying it. Our lessons are always planned out so it feels super efficient and we get through a lot of stuff. I also like how patient she is when I am struggling and will always give me some time to try and work it out by myself before she saves me. 😅

I had my first lesson with Eva and it has made me really excited to learn Chinese again. She was patient and let me figure out what to say. She spoke mostly in Chinese and wrote out words/phrases I learned during the lesson. It was a great lesson and I'm excited to take more classes from her!
