Hi! I am Teacher Sonny, a professional teacher from the Philippines. I have been teaching here in italki for more than four (4) years. I teach Filipino/Tagalog, Cebuano, and English!
During my bachelor’s degree, I studied Filipino Linguistics, so I have a lot to teach to my students.

Yo como profesor
Teaching is my passion. As a teacher it is my obligation to enrich the learnings of my students most especially when it comes to learning a specific language since it is a complex type of education. As a teacher I am always willing to explain all the intricacies of the language, and to always open my ears for suggestions and recommendations to further empower myself to become a more effective teacher. It is my duty to extricate the fears of my students to let them explore more and learn more not just the specific language but also the culture we have here in the Philippines.Mis clases y método de enseñanza
My teaching styles are very easy so my students won't feel pressure throughout the lesson. Usually in my class I provide pdf files containing the lesson structures for better and standardized learning, including my video presentations for assessment, PowerPoint slides, articles and news. It was good to have a class with Sonny. I used my second language to learn Cebuano, his explanations were clear so I could easily understand. I could feel that he was a passionate teacher.
