Jessie Expert TOPIK

My lesson with Teacher Jessie was really fun and it helped me a lot with learning Korean grammar! Her explanations were very detailed and encourages me to use Korean as much as possible. Although I am not very confident with my Korean grammar and pronunciation, I felt really comfortable speaking only Korean throughout the lesson and I am looking forward to my next one!

Having learnt Korean for 10 years, today’s first class was one of the most interesting, fun and engaging classes I have had yet. We had first read an article sharing on an issue faced in Korea which formed a base for a debate (토론) like exercise. At the end of each mini discussion, we had a short summary and review of the points and at the end, had joined it together as a mini speech/ report which would be excellent practice for anyone wanting to take TOPIK or improve overall conversation in Korean (especially in sharing thoughts on current news and controversial topics). Overall, would recommend this class highly to any mid/high-intermediate and advanced students as it’s a class that is very focused on helping you express your own thoughts but with slight tweaks and improvements. Thank you for the brilliant class!

I was referred by a friend that passed level 6 of TOPIK 2 through taking lessons with Jessie. I've been taking lessons with Jessie for over 3 months now in order to prepare for my first time taking the TOPIK 2, in which I'm aiming to pass level 6 (the highest level). Lessons with Jessie are always fun and informative, and she really caters the lesson to each individual. She has created a curriculum to prepare me for taking the TOPIK based on when I want to take the test. I also feel that the homework assignments and study materials are really useful.

We finished the chapters about feeling and emotions and did some exercises with this topic and then we moved on to the "catching up" vocabulary. Which I really need to study hard now because I feel like lacking in this part of studying a language, so I ask so many questions and Jessie gives the best examples and reasons to make me 100% understand the details

Started taking classes just a while ago, but my skills have improved so much, I can watch Korean dramas without subtitles and understand almost all of it, Jessie 선생님's classes are always super fun and motivating!

The lesson was focused on homework review and then we continued with celebration and consolation topics. I'm very glad that when I have a doubt about the correction I can ask Jessie right away and she gives a complete explanation and examples so I can fully understand the subtle differences of similar grammar rules.
