Für mich war immer der Spaß am Lernen im Vordergrund. Unterricht sollte heiter und entspannt sein und genau so möchte ich meine Lehreinheiten anbieten und gestalten.

As mentioned, I have taught German to elementary school kids and middle aged people. Ich bin jedoch kein ausgebildeter Deutschlehrer, weshalb ich keinen Unterricht in Grammatik anbiete. In recent years I've gained experience as a tutor, online and in person and I've always enjoyed tutoring but I'm not a trained German teacher which is why I don't offer grammar lessons.

Passion for Languages - Experience in Teaching Kids & Adults I studied German and English for a few semesters to become a primary and secondary school teacher. During my studies I tutored English, French and Spanish. I helped an 11 year old pupil to pass an exam in English and French after the summer holidays. We had regular lessons during the holidays. I spent one Ersamus semester in Spain (Cáceres) during my studies. And later I did a traineeship in Barcelona with Eurodissey. I have now been teaching German as a foreign language for over 2 years and also have the DLL certification from the Goethe Institut since the end of last year.

Interesting conversations at your language level. My preferred way of learning and teaching languages is through conversation, songs and games. We can talk about the cultures of different countries, current affairs or about art, music, literature, film and TV. This is a good way of getting comfortable in a language and of using words and phrases that are actually useful. We can look at a song together and think about the words. Perhaps you can learn the words of songs by heart for your homework in order to memorise useful expressions.
