The topic will change every time: culture, food, literature, recipes, movies, travels... 🤹🏻 The students will describe pictures, do dictation activities and funny exercises, but mostly talk about their routine, their travels, and more. At the end of the class I always tell my students my thoughts about their Italian skills based on the conversation we had, and I give them some tips to improve progressively. ⭐️ This is a safe space: feel free to share your thoughts, make mistakes and make questions. Since 2 years I have been teaching Italian in cross-cultural contexts, to people coming from all over the world. Languages are my passion. I have started teaching Italian when I was in China and I had to learn to teach to students whose mother tongue was completely different from mine, both in the grammar structure and the pronunciation. Despite these difficulties I found out I really enjoyed teaching Italian and my students surprised me with their progression!

I try to be as flexible as possible and adapt to my students' needs. I really believe that motivation is key to learning a language (or anything at all probably). That is why I try to focus on what really interests my students and 'build' on that, whatever it may be – a topic, an objective in the language, a desire to visit a place. That way learning will not feel as something one 'has to' do with all its difficulties but as something one can hopefully enjoy while in the process, while learning things that are relevant to them. So yes, as a joke I that I believe that as in any kind of relationship listening to others and asking them what they wish for is a very good skill in teaching too!

No matter if you're a beginner and it takes more time to learn the basics, an intermediate and sometimes still struggle, or an advanced and you want us to speed it all up a little. What works for you, works for me. All i ask from you is commitment and interest, then it doesn't matter if you couldn't do the exercises. All i care about is your motivation, and i will ask you about it during our trial lesson. Also, if you believe that something is not working i kindly ask you to point it out.
