University teacher in Swedish and Swedex certification examiner I have a bachelor's and a master's degree in languages (English and Swedish) and translation studies from the university "La Sapienza" in Rome. Before I moved to Rome, I studied pedagogy and educational training at a Swedish university (Högskolan i Skövde). After my degree in 2011, I started to work as a teacher in Swedish in a Swedish school in Rome and as a freelance teacher. I started to work as a freelance teacher online already during my university years and since I felt so comfortable with this kind of teaching, I continued. The last 6 years (and where I am currently) I've been working as a lecturer in Swedish as a foreign language at the university in Rome.

I'm think it's easier to learn a language by being exposed to it, it the form of having people who speak the language speaking with you and giving you tips on how to sound more fluent and natural while speaking. Of course learning the basic grammar and vocabulary is very important so I will do my best in teaching that as well. While living abroad I was an "English foreign leader" where I was sat in a room with 3-9 people and having normal everyday conversations. I realised that these conversations helped the people with fluency and feeling more comfortable in speaking english to foreigners.
