「せっかく」は良く使うことばです。聞いたことがありますか。
勉強しましょう！

N２文法「（きもちのことば）＋ことに」や「もったいない」も一緒に使ってみます。


〈意味〉
頑張(がんば)って／時間(じかん)・お金(かね)をかけて（使(つか)って）／苦労(くろう)して／無理(むり)して／わざわざ

【せっかく】〈副詞〉
こんな風(ふう)に使(つか)います･･･
「せっかく～から」、「せっかく～けど」、「せっかく～のに」など

★会話の中の「せっかく」★
①もう15時か。せっかくここまで来たのに、残念だけど、そろそろ引き返そう。
②でも、目的地まであと少しっぽいですよ。せっかく2時間もがんばって歩いたんだから、あと少し歩いてみたいんですが。



★練習「せっかく」★
〈1〉
①【時間をかけて】みんなのためにマフィン（muffin）を作ったのに･･･、だれも食べてくれなくてかなしかった。
②お母さんの誕生日に【苦労(くろう)して】実家(じっか)に帰ったのに、お母さんは旅行)に行っていて会えなかった。がっかりした。


〈2〉
①【わざわざ】日本に来たんだから、ほしいものは全部買って帰ろうと思う。
②【お金を使って】買った本だから、内容(ないよう)はめちゃくちゃつまらなかったけど、最後まで読んだ。



★お友だちのことば「もったいない」★
文型「せっかく～のに／から、～のはもったいない」
１）せっかく今までがんばったのに、ここでやめるのはもったいないよ。
２）せっかく今までがんばったんだから、ここであきらめるのはもったいないよ。
