In italiano il verbo Piacere è il verbo che si usa per esprimere i gusti. È un verbo  irregolare e si usa

normalmente nelle forme:

-piace (terza persona singolare) e -piacciono (terza persona

plurale),

precedute dai pronomi indiretti

io= -mi

tu= -ti

lui/lei= -gli/le

noi=-ci

voi= -vi

loro= gli

Per la terza persona singolare ci sono due pronomi:

-gli per il maschile (a lui)

-le  per il femminile (a lei);

per la terza persona plurale, invece, c’è solo il pronome gli per

il maschile e il femminile.

Esempi

• A Maria piace il caffè. • Le piace il caffè.

• A Ugo piace ascoltare la musica. • Gli piace ascoltare la musica

• A Maria e Ugo piace viaggiare. • Gli piace viaggiare.

per la terza persona plurale, c’è solo il pronome gli per

il maschile e il femminile.

Esempi

• A Maria piace il caffè. • Le piace il caffè.

• A Ugo piace ascoltare la musica. • Gli piace ascoltare la musica

• A Maria e Ugo piace viaggiare. • Gli piace viaggiare.

Sinonimi per non usare "mi piace" in italiano


Mi fa impazzire!= per dire che qualcosa piace davvero molto). Esempio:       
     Il tiramisù mi fa impazzire!

Non mi dispiace=  (per indicare che qualcosa ti piace ma non troppo). 

amo/adoro= per esprimere un piacere profondo).

Sophie knows what it’s like to feel a mix of excitement and anxiety in learning. When she was younger, she often found herself overwhelmed when studying, fearing that her efforts wouldn’t pay off. Research shows that fear often stems from a lack of self-confidence, where we question our own abilities. Sophie’s self-doubt was compounded by her parents’ high expectations, which made her feel like she could never measure up. Instead of motivating her, these pressures caused her to avoid studying, fearing that no matter how hard she tried, she would never be “good enough.”

In adulthood, Sophie realized that her fear was more than just insecurity—it was often accompanied by a sense of learning guilt. This guilt made her feel undeserving of success. When she did well, she sometimes self-sabotaged by downplaying her accomplishments or giving up at the next hurdle. According to research, self-sabotage often results from feelings of inadequacy or low self-worth, where people create barriers to avoid possible failure. Sophie’s “learning guilt” made her believe she wasn’t truly capable or deserving of progress, reinforcing her tendency to give up rather than push forward.

Today I talk about seasonal food which we can eat only a short period of time. Fukinotou, butterbur sprout, tells us the end of winter, which we can't wait.
