EU
EU ist die Abkürzung für Europäische Union. In der EU arbeiten 27 Länder zusammen. Auch Deutschland gehört zur EU. Nach dem 2. Welt-Krieg haben sich einige Länder in Europa zusammengetan. Sie wollten, dass es in Europa nie wieder Krieg gibt. Nach und nach kamen immer mehr Länder dazu. Die EU kann Gesetze machen. Die Gesetze gelten dann in allen EU-Ländern. Die meisten EU-Politiker arbeiten in Brüssel. Das ist die Haupt-Stadt von Belgien.

Europa-Parlament
Im Europa-Parlament sitzen Politikerinnen und Politiker aus allen Ländern der Europäischen Union. Sie entscheiden mit über die Politik in Europa. Das Europa-Parlament tagt manchmal in der Stadt Brüssel und manchmal in der Stadt Straßburg.

Klima-Schutz
Klima-Schutz ist eine Politik. Der Klima-Schutz soll verhindern, dass es auf der Erde immer wärmer wird. Ein wichtiges Mittel im Klima-Schutz ist, weniger Abgase zu produzieren. Die Abgase entstehen zum Beispiel beim Auto-Fahren, aber auch beim Heizen und in Kraft-Werken. Abgase schaden dem Klima. Deshalb bedeutet Klima-Schutz zum Beispiel: Weniger Auto fahren, weniger Flugzeug fliegen, weniger Heizung und Strom verbrauchen.

Kohlen-Dioxid
Kohlen-Dioxid ist ein Gas. Es kommt in der Luft vor. Kohlen-Dioxid entsteht, wenn man etwas verbrennt. Es entsteht zum Beispiel, wenn Holz oder Heizöl brennen. Auch Autos stoßen Kohlen-Dioxid aus. Das liegt daran, dass im Motor Benzin oder Diesel-Kraft-Stoff verbrannt werden. Kohlen-Dioxid kann sehr gefährlich sein. Es ist nämlich ein so genanntes Treibhaus-Gas. Das bedeutet, dass es zur Erd-Erwärmung beiträgt. Also dazu, dass die Temperaturen auf unserer Erde steigen. Das nennt man Klima-Wandel.

You can add multimedia, join professional organizations, list more accomplishments, among other features. More importantly, you can display others' recommendations for you and their endorsements, which carry more weight. It’s also something that is dynamic and shows what you’re doing now. You can use it daily and leave a digital footprint, all while building your personal brand. It’s the living, breathing version of your resume. Finally, when you apply for jobs through LinkedIn, the person viewing your application will see a breakdown of how your profile aligns with the job description, including your skills. While you have limited space on a resume to list your skills, you can incorporate keywords throughout your profile as well as in your Skills & Endorsements profile section. Plus, when you apply for jobs with a Premium LinkedIn account, you can see how you compare to other candidates and how many people have applied. In some cases, applying won’t be worth your time.
