Sebelum kita bahas lebih dalam tentang topik kali ini, saya mau bertanya dulu ke kalian, "apa kamu sudah menemukan jodohmu?" Mungkin kalian pikir, "menemukan jodoh" adalah menemukan pacar atau pasangan hidup, suami atau istri. Tapi sebetulnya arti "jodoh" lebih dari itu. 

Berkat guru Bahasa Jepang saya, saya bisa paham arti "jodoh" adalah ご縁 (goen). Di Bahasa Inggris, saya rasa "jodoh" punya arti banyak, bisa berarti "connection, fate, bond", tergantung konteks. 

Coba bayangkan, dari 8 miliar / 8 billion/ 80億 penduduk dunia, kamu bisa bertemu dengan teman yang betul-betul mendukungmu, yang selalu ada di sisimu, itu artinya dia adalah jodohmu dalam pertemanan. 

Atau ketika kamu sangat lelah mencari pekerjaan, dan akhirnya bisa mendapat pekerjaan yang membuatmu merasa bahagia dan berkembang, artinya kamu berjodoh dengan pekerjaan itu!

Jodoh juga bisa dengan dokter. Dokter yang benar-benar peduli dengan kesehatanmu, dan selalu buat kamu merasa aman. Dia adalah jodohmu di dunia kesehatan. 

Dari pengalaman saya, saya menemukan jodoh dengan guru bahasa saya, ketika saya merasa pertemuan dengannya tidak hanya mengajar dan belajar, tapi saya merasa nyaman, saling mendukung dan saling memberi inspirasi. 

O ya, kalian yang mendengarkan podcast saya ini artinya kita juga berjodoh, loh!
