안녕하세요.
오늘은 좋아하는 노래에 대해서 이야기할 거예요.

저는 며칠 전에 우연히 어떤 가수의 노래를 듣게 되었어요. 
처음 들어 보는 노래였는데 듣자마자 완전히 빠져 버렸어요.

가사도 너무 좋고, 멜로디(melody)도 너무 제 스타일이었어요.

그래서 그날 이후로 하루 종일 그 가수의 노래를 듣고 있어요.

좋아하는 것을 말할 때, 그게 너무 좋을 때 ‘빠지다’, ‘빠졌어요’라고 말할 수 있는데 ‘푹’을 같이 말하면 정말 너무 좋아한다는 것을 표현할 수 있어요.

저는 요즘 그 가수에게 푹 빠졌어요.
저는 요즘 그 가수의 노래에 푹 빠졌어요.
저는 요즘 떡볶이에 푹 빠져서 매일 떡볶이만 먹어요.
저는 요즘 외국어 공부에 푹 빠져서 하루에 두 시간씩 열심히 공부하고 있어요.

이렇게 내가 특별히 아주 좋아하는 것이 생겼을 때 ‘푹 빠지다’ 말할 수 있어요.

아, 참고로 제가 푹 빠진 가수는 LUCY라는 한국 가수입니다. 노래의 분위기가 정말 제가 좋아하는 분위기이고, 특히 가사가 정말 예술이에요. 정말 좋아요. 너무 예쁜 가사입니다.

Episode 1 - Making suggestions

They say that fortune favors the bold, but I am apt to think that fortune favors those who are hardworking even more. Therefore I have included this quality of diligence for this episode. 

Are you hardworking? Yes, I think you are because you have taken effort to learn Malay online by listening to this Uplifting and Inspirational Podcast Series.

We shall make sentences with the Malay word for hardworking and go through the different sentence variations.

想 (xiǎng) and 要 (yào) are both verbs in Chinese that can be translated as "want" in English, but they are used in different contexts and convey slightly different meanings.
想 (xiǎng) is used to express a desire or inclination, often accompanied by a feeling or emotion. It can be translated as "to think" or "to wish" in English. For example:
我想去旅游。 (Wǒ xiǎng qù lǚyóu.)
I want to go traveling.
他想学游泳。 (Tā xiǎng xué yóuyǒng.)
He wants to learn how to swim.
要 (yào) is used to express a strong desire or intention, often with the idea of taking action to achieve a goal. It can be translated as "to want" or "to need" in English. For example:
我要一杯咖啡。 (Wǒ yào yī bēi kāfēi.)
I want a cup of coffee.
他要买一辆新车。 (Tā yào mǎi yī liàng xīn chē.)
He wants to buy a new car.
Note that in some contexts, 想 (xiǎng) and 要 (yào) can be used interchangeably, especially in spoken Chinese. In this case, the choice of word may depend on the speaker's style or emphasis.
