On a personal note, I preferred to let the heavy rain passed before going home or doing errands. Rain can be calming at times but at its extreme level -this can posed danger specially on the roads. However, if can’t be helped the needs to go out or got caught in the rain on the way home I would choose to use transportation apps. In that way it would be convenient can still move around while at my leisure.

I removed un needed wordage and fixed some basic grammatical errors. It’s subjective, but I would say it like this.
