Do you know about the half-Vietnamese American singer Khai Dreams? Let me just say this out loud first: He is amazing, and he is Asian Jason Mraz to my ears. 😂 It is a bit shameful that I've finally got to listen to "Sunkissed," which came out last year, but it is always better late than never, right? :) When I listened to the first verse of this song, I felt like I literally got sunkissed by this dude, and I loved it (not in the weird way it sounds 😂). Without further ado, let me talk about this amazing singer Khai Dreams! According to the information provided by Celebpie, Khai Dreams is in his 20s and a half-Vietnamese American as I mentioned earlier. Most interestingly, the French band Tahiti 80 and Frank Ocean are known as his biggest musical influences. (I think that Tahiti 80 has definitely influenced him in many ways from his music to fashion.) Based on my harmless stalking on his Soundcloud, it seems like he has posted his music on the internet since 2017 with the release of "Medicine." Afterward, he has uploaded nearly 40 songs; his most recognized tracks being "Smokescreen, "All Over Again" and "She's Already In My Head" alongside "Sunkissed." The reason I said earlier that he is Asian Jason Mraz is not only because of his beautiful, brisk voice that is similar to that of the American singer. Many of his tracks are also led by acoustic guitar and make you feel either happy like Jason Mraz's hit track "I'm Yours" does to you or a bit sad like his weighty single "Lucky." I guess his straightforward and witty lyrics help listeners feel those different emotions:  "You know I wanna be your rock, my love. You know I wanna be your light in darkness." So, this was my brief introduction to Khai Dreams! The nice thing is that many of his tracks have already attracted more than one million views, and he is pretty well known in the indie scene!
