In the story, Percy Jackson has a nightmare about Grover. In the nightmare, he sees Grover running from an enemy and hiding in a bridal shop. At school, a group of Laestrygonians attacks Percy and his friends with a fireball while they are playing dodgeball. Percy rescues his friends and also Tyson. Annabeth takes Percy and Tyson back to the camp in the Gray's taxi [not sure if "the Gray" is right or not because I don't know what it is.], but when they arrive, they find themselves being attacked by two bronze Colchis bulls. Percy tells Annabeth of his dream and she is sure that Grover has found the Golden Fleece, which could heal the Thalia tree. On the way to the Sea of Monsters, the CSS Birmingham is destroyed by Charybdis and attacked by Scylla. Tyson and Clarisse die, Percy and Annabeth escape and arrive at an island, where they see and find "CC's Spa and Resort". CC takes Annabeth on a tour of the island. She shows Percy her magic and gives him a potion, but when he drinks the potion, he becomes a pig, and CC locks him in a cage with six other pigs. Percy (later) transforms back into a human with Blackbeard. Percy and Annabeth drift [I'm not sure if this is the right verb. It suggests they had no control over their destination.] to the island of Polyphemus and meet again Tyson and Clarisse. They rescue Grover, find the Golden Fleece, and return to the mainland. Having returned to the camp, Chiron gets his job back. Clarisse covers the Thalia tree with the Golden Fleece and it heals and revives the tree. The Sea of Monsters was as interesting and humourous as The Lightning Thief, and I enjoyed the creativity of the story. The story also taught me not to judge/rate someone on appearance/looks: judge/rate them on how they act.
