In different periods of my life, the festival which was worth celebrating has always changed. When I was a kid, June 1st was the most special day that made me feel excited. I was looking forward to celebrating the International Children's Day and especially wanted to know what my parents would give me as a gift. In that period, we didn't have much money. Most children didn't have any pocket money. So, when you received a gift, even if it was just a pen, from your parents on that day; it could make you feel as if you were the happiest child in the world. When I grew up, especially when I went to university, the Spring festival became my favorite festival. It meant the winter school break would be coming and I would see my family soon. Above all / On top of that, there was plenty of delicious food waiting for me. In that period, my family was the most precious thing in my eyes. In the early times after I started to work, the National Day was my favorite holiday because there was a seven days’ vacation waiting for you and in the most beautiful season: fall. I would book a ticket for a trip without hesitation. Just enjoy nature, food and music. Each time I recall these moments and what I did, I never regretted / I never had any regrets. Though I didn't realize the responsibilities if your life in that time but I just call that youth. Even until today, when I look at the pictures that were taken in that period I will cry because I know I am no spring chicken. Do you know what my favorite festival is now? Don’t laugh at me when I tell you the answer, it's the Dragon Boat Festival. Maybe you might be confused why it is. Because the summer is really coming from that time. I wonder when it begins, I specifically love sunshine. I look forward to sunshine in any cloudy days. It can give me peace and hope. So, your favorite festival depends on what you think about.
