English idioms šŸ“ #moreфŠ¾Š½2020 šŸŒŠ An idiom is a phrase that has a metaphorical meaning. If you look at the individual words, you probably wonā€™t be able to guess what the idiom means. Iā€™ve noticed many people include idioms into their diary entries. Thatā€™s a really good habit šŸ‘šŸ» To help my students get comfortable using idioms, we play a fun online game that gives you a sequence of emojis. I donā€™t remember those sequences exactly, but I made up some of my own. Can you guess the following idioms? 1. šŸ˜Ž=šŸ„’ 2. šŸ‘œšŸˆšŸ˜³ 3.šŸ‘‚šŸ»ā¬†ļøšŸ“šŸ‘… 4. 1ļøāƒ£šŸ”µšŸŒ™ 5. šŸ°šŸŽ‚šŸ‘ŒšŸ» 6. šŸƒšŸ½ā€ā™€ļø=šŸŽ» You can put your answers in the comments šŸ¤—
