What is your opinion on learning two (or more) languages at a time. I see a lot of people here mention they learn few languages. Do you think its efficient or confusing and better to concentrate on one language? If you do study few, do you prioritize?
Thank you in advance!
Also I agree with others who say it helps if you can organize your study time in a way that works for you. I spend 10-15 minutes every day reviewing flashcards in both languages, but I don't like to learn new material in both languages on the same days. I like to split my week so I have Chinese lessons or chats on Sat-Mon and Arabic lessons or chats on Tues-Thurs.
I prefer one at time until I achieve the level that I itch for. Then, I jump to another. I think that you should learn more languages at the same time if they aren't from the same family language. For example: I was learning about Norwegian, but I lost my bottle. Because English and Norwegian belong to the same family. Moreover, some things in Norwegian are too similar to English and I was afraid of conflating everything.
I think it also will depends on how much effort that you want to spend for each of them. As well, which level that you want to achieve and etc. But, creating a deadline for your language that you crave for it's also, a great point.
