I think superstition is common among all people. there are those of us who for one reason or another tend to think of something as lucky or unlucky. I could be something as simple as a rabbit's foot, lucky tie or even in some cases a number.

Here in America the number seven (7) is considered to be a lucky number and the number thirteen (13) to be unlucky. Thirteen (13) is considered so unlucky, that in our high rise buildings there is no 13th Floor.

However, I personally believe that if you feel unlucky, then bads things will happen and vice-versa for good luck. This i believe is because we have a tendency to notice the things we focus on.

So no matter how good or bad your day is going, try to maintain that lucky feeling and sooner or later your luck will come true, because that is what you are looking to happen.

Another unlucky number in Russia- 666. It's an item of satanic worship.
I've heard that the floors in some buildings of different countries are numbered so that the 14th floor follows immediately after the 12th (the 13th floor can be called as "+1" or 12A)

Our unlucky number is 13. Since Filipinos are into superstitious beliefs, the number 13 with a Friday date is dangerous.
