Is it better to shop in big supermarkets or in small local shops ? Why and why not ?
Hi everyone, please correct this writing for me, I'm preparing for IELTs, so I hope receive your advices about this writing.
One can hardly say which kind of shopping (in>not necessary) between large self-service shop and small shop is better. (But>not necessary) as a young citizen I prefer going to the big one (because of three reasons)> (for its various products, convenience and attractive discount).
First of all, the fact that there are various things or may be most of things we need in supermarkets, which helps buyers reduce time replacing from one small shop to another one. Moreover, many categories are not sold outside supermarkets. I find myself that in some supermarkets, they have their special food, it is always cheap and delicious.
Second (of all), the buying mode at supermarkets is self-selecting(, which makes)/ making (the>nn) customers feel free and comfortable. In fact, some people can find it hard to choose what they want but this kind of service is actually attracting more and more young people. In addition, the service quality is quite good so ones can quickly adapt.
Finally, although they have a high service quality, goods is sold at cheaper price than outside. In Vietnam, there are some wholesale supermarket chains such as BigC and Metro, their goods is at high quality even they often have promotions and fairs each month.
Eventually, such kind of markets certainly has its advantages but it is still so (young)>? compared to the shopping in small shops, especially in Vietnam. But as the family economy is more developed, buying goods in supermarkets is an indispensable trend.
