Which is correct “deeper my passion/interest” or “strengthen my passion/interest”?

I’d like to say “ It was consolidated?/deeper? my interest [on cooking( I originally have this interest)] after I tasted the very palatable cuisine which made by my grandma.

Hi Alice, I would say “grow or develop passion for smth” and “maintain/keep interest”

Both can be correct however the first one should be deepen my passion/interest but I think the first one sounds better
