'electric' means powered by electricity. 'Electric power' as a term refers to the rate at which electric energy is transferred by an electric circuit. 'electrical' means relating to electricity. 'Electrical power ' is the product of voltage and current.

"Electric" is usually used to describe something that uses or produces electricity. Electric light, guitar, drill, current, charge, plug, socket, switch, chair, shock. We use "electrical" with more general nouns that are connected with electricity. Electrical equipment, appliances, power, energy, wiring, signal, engineer. However, in some cases two variants are possible: an electric/electrical company, an electric/electrical current, an electric/electrical shock.
