difference "sleeping deeply" / "sleeping soundly" I'd like to know what's the difference between "sleeping deeply" and "sleeping soundly"?

"Deeply" tells me you are very much asleep, and it would be difficult to wake you up. "Soundly" means your sleep is undisturbed and healthy. Here, "sound" is related to the German word "gesund".
