Which is the difference between "a lot of" and "lots of" ? For example, between "I watch a lot of movies" and "I watch lots of movies", which sentence is the correct one ?

The meaning is the same, the difference is lots of is one word less.

The first sentence implies that you watch a big group of movies, while the second means you watch many big groups of movies.
