The exact meaning of "The jokes is on you" ? I've heard that a couple of times but I am not entirely sure of what it means.. It would be awesome if you could use it in some sentence, so I could realize of how it applies :P Thanks :-)

"The joke's on you" means that you are the butt of the joke. Example: Person A. Is my new dress too short?. It cost me $300. Person B. I can see your underwear. So for that price, the joke's on you!

If you say that the joke is on a particular person, you mean that they have tried to make someone else look silly but have made themselves look silly instead.
