三八是 slang，英文可能沒有一模一樣的說法 (也許有，只是我不知道)。這個詞據我所知只在台灣使用。三八的意思就是 do the wrong thing (with the wrong person (at the wrong time)) 所以它有時候可以翻譯成 flamboyant，但是有時候像 cheesy，有時候像 slutty，而且我們通常用這個詞來講女人 (看到 slutty 你應該就知道了)。這些詞一樣是語境不太相同，但偶有重疊。 如果英文裡的 terrifying 比 scary 要更可怕的話，那我覺得你對可怕和恐怖的看法是對的。不過其實我們也常常隨便選一個來講而已。但是真要計較起來的話，恐怖的正式度又比可怕要高。 最後，scared、terrified、horrified 我們常常都用一樣的講法，這點中文不像英文那麼多樣，我們往往就一視同仁地講「嚇死了；嚇壞了」，不然就只能講長一點：「覺得好可怕；覺得好恐怖」。Crazy 如果是講 mentality，那就是「瘋了」，如果是 outrageous、unbelievable 這種意思的話，也只能講成「太誇張了；太扯了 (this one is used in Taiwan)」；可是如果是像 awesome 或 great 這種意思的話，那就是「太棒了；超棒的」(但是有些當翻譯的人會一律講成「太瘋狂了」，這其實不太自然)。Lunatic 就我所知多半是當名詞，as in "crazy person"，那就是「瘋子」，如果是 adjective，通常翻譯成「瘋狂的」。不過 lunatic 在英文裡並沒有 awesome、rad、sick (slang term) 之類的意思，對嗎？Unique 就是「與眾不同(的)；很獨特(的)；很不一樣(的)」。

你這個問題不好回答。你問「A 是不是 B」，有時候是，有時候不是。這樣說是因為 A、B 雙方使用的「語境 (context)」有時候會不一樣。儘管如此，因為我對找出中英文中的對等詞 (equivalent) 很有興趣，所以我就以我所知的部分來回答看看。 據我所知，離譜裡的譜接近英文裡 the norm 的意思，所以離譜的字面意思是 depart from the norm。在中文裡，離譜可以是 outrageous 也可以是 unbelievable，但是英文的 unbelievable 也可以有正面的意思，但中文的離譜卻沒有，這就是我所說的語境不同。而 quirky 就我所知有正面的意涵 (positive connotation)，它的意思近似 strange but interesting，但是中文的離譜卻沒有正面的意涵，所以兩者不同。離譜有點 abnormal 的味道，但 abnormal 在中文裡通常是講成「異常；反常；不正常」。至於 quirky，我認為中文裡沒有一模一樣的講法，我可能會講成「古怪；異於常人」。 誇張本來的意思比較像英文的 exaggerate 或 blow out of proportion，可是你也知道，中文是種比英文更常出現「平行思考 (parallel thinking)」的語言，因為我們覺得 blow out of proportion 跟 outrageous 有很像的地方，所以我們也常常把誇張當成離譜來使用。

i'd say 離譜means "far-fetched" "誇張" means "exaggerated" 三八 is used to curse. "你这个死三八" =“What a fucking bitch you are!” “” other words that indicate fear and shock can be "害怕" “膽怯” “恐懼” “震驚” other words that indicate frenzy can be “發瘋” “瘋狂” Hope this helps ：）
