send to and send over What's the difference between "send something to someone" and send something over to someone"?

There's no real difference except that sending something over to someone conveys an idea of distance.

The 'over' here is the same as in your other question. It implies a distance. Although 'send' also implies distance, so in this case, the 'over' is redundant, and probably only used for rhythm.
