What does this phrase mean "but also on some real shit"? After salvage operation of Lamar happens a little talk: L: - I guess what we learnt is nigga don't think it no fun to be had fucking with homies, nigga. You feel me, my nigga? (this line means they can have a good time together, if I am wrong rectify me) F: - Yeah, I guess you can look at it like that. L: - Hey, but also on some real shit, my nigga (I think it's something like a preparation or warm-up before serious conversation) You know your nigga out here doing B-A-D man... Can you please interpretate this phrase "Hey, but also on some real shit, my nigga"?) The full talk here https://youtu.be/8u8KBymJfeI?t=7m33s

Can you give the exact location of the phrase, because the link you posted is nearly 30 mins long.

I'd say that Robert's interpretation is correct. I'm not sure why you are learning such slang. I mean, it's your choice, of course. You will mainly hear people speak that way in movies, in rap, and on the streets(I mean, people who are buying and selling drugs on the streets.). If a person lives in a predominantly African American community, then, yes, some people do often speak that way. I would advice against using it yourself. You translate it into Russian?

"Hey, but also on some real shit, my nigga" = "Let me also talk to you about a real issue" ( he wants to chatting about nothing and ask for money) You have really chosen a very specific slang to study. It is rare to hear people talk like this - I have only heard it in movies.

It sounds like you are right. But the whole conversation is in African American slang, in which I am not expert, so it's hard to say exactly what this means. "real shit" would mean "the real thing" or something like that.
