Wet means that water has condensed onto a physical object, like a rock or glass of water. If you were to grab this object, your hands would get wet. Humidity refers to evaporated water in the air. If you walk outside, you will not get wet. However, the humid air will make the air feel stuffy and hot.

Wet is usually used for solid objects. For example: The table is wet. / I got my clothes wet. Humid is usually used for the air and weather. For example: It is very humid outside. / Turn the AC on because it is very hot and humid in here.
