Are these two ancient hebrew words refer to the same thing? ח֣וּג y וְח֥וּג
One is translated as "Circle" and the other one as "Circuit". I'm interested specifically in knowing if for that hebrew words they undesrtood a flat figure and a line as geometric figures? Or the meaning of these words are not exactly the same as are translated to the modern languages?
A circle is a two dimensional geometrical figure a circuit could be like a race track depending on the context. A three dimensional geometrical figure analogous to a circle would be a sphere. If you have any other questions you might consider my trial lesson.
