What is the difference between "It seems " and "Someone seems"?
There are two sentences below.
Is there any difference between them?
Do they make sense?
I’m always confused if it starts with ”it seems ” or ”someone seems ” when I try to make sentence.
Could you please explain a difference to me?
Thank you so much.
1) It seems like kids are getting fatter and fatter.
2) Kids seem to be getting fatter and fatter.
These sentences are both correct and essentially have the same meaning. Like Greg says: 1 is an active statement, 2 is passive.

The two sentences really have the same meaning.
The first sentence is using an active voice, the 2nd is using a passive voice.
