Does the phrase "in order to" need a comma? For ex. : I'd like to take it in order to become a specialist

Not in the example you gave. However, if you use it at the beginning of a sentence, you would use a comma. For example: In order to get better grades, I need to study more. In order to graduate on time, i have to go to summer school. In order not to miss my bus, I always leave ten minutes early.
