Hello Virginia, "faraway" as an adjective could also be far removed mentally not only in concrete space or time such as a " faraway look ".

faraway used as an adjective in the meaning (remote, very distant) long ago in the faraway land or far away when postpositive (of an adjective or other modifier) placed after the word modified, either immediately after long ago , in the land far away
