Founder and content creator of "Bravo! Italian with Paola" I've been teaching on italki since November 2016 and over the years I developed a very flexible method, which allowed me to teach to students of any level and with different goals, preferences and needs. During our lessons, I'll always try to create a relaxed atmosphere so you can feel at ease and have fun while learning. I usually conduct my lessons in Italian as much as I can, so you get used to it, but I can also use English if you like.

In my classes, I like to create a relaxing and welcoming environment, where everybody can express themselves freely. Since 2015 I helped many French and English students of any levels, from A1 to C2, to learn Italian, preparing for the Italian official exam for foreigners students. I love to talk to students and explain the particularities of the Italian language, especially t the grammar rules and the main differences with their languages ​​of origin, especially if they are native speakers of English, French or German, languages ​​I know at an advanced level.

That is why I try to focus on what really interests my students and 'build' on that, whatever it may be – a topic, an objective in the language, a desire to visit a place. That way learning will not feel as something one 'has to' do with all its difficulties but as something one can hopefully enjoy while in the process, while learning things that are relevant to them. So yes, as a joke I that I believe that as in any kind of relationship listening to others and asking them what they wish for is a very good skill in teaching too!
