Hello! My name is Teacher Summer! Thank you for clicking my profile. The short story about myself is this:
I am an American living on the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica. I've also lived in France for 15 years. I love to travel and I have visited many countries. I am a mom of two energetic, young boys. I am bilingual and enjoy running, writing, theatre arts, and making audio books in English.Moi en tant que professeur
I have been teaching English as a second language for more than nine years. I have done private tutoring to French students and adults. The last four years I have been teaching exclusively children online. I have taught hundreds of students over 6000 lessons online!Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
It is my job:
To make children feel comfortable and ready for class - a comfortable child is ready to talk!
To build a safe place where mistakes can be made (that is how we learn!)
To find what interests a child and keeps them engaged.
To encourage independent thought and creative speech.
To provide the tools my students need to understand and flourish.

Starting with the book club, I have a regular class twice a week with teacher Summer. I've never seen anyone who is as diligent and prepared for class as her. She's the only teacher I trust perfectly!

Summer has been our best teacher for 2 years! Our son, who is 10 years old, always enjoys learning with her. She consistently has a great lesson program and knows exactly how to keep him interested in the learning process.
