My name is Sipha, and I am from East London, South Africa. I am a TESOL Certified community tutor and a Civil Engineering Graduate from Nelson Mandela University. I work as a Junior Civil Engineering Technologist in the real world which is why I enjoy being outdoors.
I am fun to hang out with as I am open minded and enjoy interacting with new people. Lasty, I have never travelled outside South Africa, however, in the future I would love to experience living abroad hence my wide interest in learning about other countries, cultures and unique experiences.Moi en tant que professeur
I promise to be patient, friendly and open-minded. I specialize in conversational English, and I always aim to create a teaching environment that enables my students to engage in casual day-to-day conversation where I can introduce new vocabulary, assist with pronunciation and English grammar. I am also open to engaging in topics that my clients find interesting or common interests, alternatively we can also do some reading, writing and interview preparation.Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
I aim to use a student centered teaching style that focuses on the individual needs, goals and interests of my students in order to reap realistic and effective results. I have done 10 lessons with Sipha and I booked another 10. That said, Sipha is a very engaging and methodical teacher who adapts the lessons to the level of the student. I was very anxious in the first classes but with her support I no longer feel anxious when I need to communicate in English. Keep up the good work Sipha, no doubt, I will continually have classes with you!
