Hello! Thank you so much for reading my profile. My name is Jennifer. I'm a native English speaker. I live in the United States with my husband, two daughters and my dog Luna. I can speak and Understand Spanish at an advanced level and French at an intermediate level. I love languages and meeting people from all over the world. My hobbies are reading, sewing, traveling and watching Netflix. I have three business degrees (accounting, human resources and general management) and I spent years working in banking. I have a passion for learning and teaching languages. I speak Spanish and French, as well as, English. My goal is to make you feel comfortable in class so that you can concentrate on practicing and improving your English. I teach primarily through conversation which is the way I learned Spanish and French. I take classes on italki just like you. I can completely relate to the frustrations that you encounter while learning but I also know that it can be an extremely fun and rewarding process. My lessons are conversation based. In my experience this is the best way to learn a language - through comprehensible input and practice. When you have conversations you are both obtaining input through listening and also developing your English speaking skills while talking. I am a very laid-back person and I get along with just about everyone. My personality puts people at ease and makes it easier for my students to relax in class which I know allows them to progress faster. I've learned 2 languages myself and I know that it is a journey.
