I have had 3 sessions so far with Sean; he is very patient and centers the lessons around what I feel I need the most work on! This is my 15th lesson with Shawn. After so many lessons he has learned what works well for me and tailors lessons to my learning needs. I particularly need a lot of help with hearing and speaking practice and he has made sure the lessons are centered around that while also introducing new grammar and vocabulary. I also really like specific details and explanations for things so Shawn will break down every sentence and grammar point often times including word etymology and comparison between formal and colloquial usage. I really appreciate the amount of time and effort he always puts into our lessons. Shawn is incredibly patient and makes the learning process enjoyable and comfortable. I would highly recommend Shawn to anyone who needs help on their Korean learning journey.

Shawn did a great job explaining the thing I’ve always been most hesitant to learn in a way that made me understand on a new level. I’m excited to practice and continue to grow. His positive attitude and gentle constructive feedback is exactly what I was hoping for. Thank you! :)
