Hi guys! My name is Aviel, and I'm a native Hebrew speaker. I've been teaching Hebrew on Italki since 2013, and I've had more than 150 students!
When I was a kid, I lived in The US for about a year with my family, and there I realized that I really like learning languages, and getting to know new people from all over the world. I've discovered Italki a few years ago when I started learning Spanish, and I must say that it has a major impact on my improvement in Spanish. Besides fluent Spanish and English, I speak Levantine Arabic and some French.
I've got a B.A degree in psychology and an M.A degree in logistics and global chain of supply.

I've been giving private lessons in Hebrew for the past few years and I must admit that I like it a lot. As a point of view, I really believe in self learning with guidance. I'm very patient and have good teaching skills, and have the ability to connect with every student. My main goal is to help you feel better and confidant with Hebrew, and at the same time improving your level.
In addition, I have lots of experience in the business and industry sector from working in procurement and inventory planning, so I definitely can help you upgrading your business vocabulary and knowledge.Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
Like I've written above - I'm a self learning person. so during the sessions with me I will help you and guide you how to master Hebrew through tips and exercises. But the main work should be done off-class by you - meaning doing your exercises; reading articles/books, listening to podcasts, etc. I can refer you to resources and in some cases send it to you by email.
If you are a beginner, we will go over the basics of Hebrew - The writing, the vowels, the conjugations. If you are an intermediate or and advanced student, we will focus on the topics you find challenging and work on them until you fill confident, I.e grammer, reading etc.Mes ressources d'enseignement

Aviel is an excellent teacher, from start to finish. He teaches Hebrew from the most easy to understand to the complicated little concepts, he's also quite patient with students and helpful, if one has a question he's always willing to help out. Over time with Aviel I've went from speaking lightly in Hebrew to him to doing lessons where near half of what we say is in the language. It's a satisfying experience and I would recommend Aviel to anyone wishing to learn the Hebrew language.

Another great lesson! Aviel is great because we can talk about Israeli culture in Hebrew, so I really feel like I'm getting a hang of both the language and an idea of the culture! Also, his new website is really helpful
