I live in Hokkaido, the north of Japan.
I studied Japanese education at University to be a Japanese teacher when I was over 50years old.
I passed examination for Japanese teachers.
I have a positive personality and if I make up my mind to do something I take action.
I study Korean Language because I like Korean drama and K-pop, and I will go to South Korea to study Korean language in future.
Recently I'm interested in camping. I went solo camping and enjoy it last year.
I will go camping with my daughter around Hokkaido this summer.

I taught some elementary school students who came to Japan and didn't know Japanese at all.
I taught them from Hiragana,greetings and also told them about life style in Japan.
I was by their side and also supported school lessons.
And I taught some International students how to prepare for JLPT. They enjoyed studying with quizzes I made.
Now I teach some American students who have returned to America.
私は日本語ゼロで日本に住むことになった小学生に日本語を教えました。ひらがなや挨拶から始まり、日本での生活についても話しました。彼らのそばについて学校の授業のサポートもしました。
また、大学の留学生にJLPT対策のクイズを作り、楽しくクイズをしながらJLPTの勉強を教えました。

I will teach Japanese one by one using PPT.
I focus on conversation, but grammar is also important, so I would like to teach it firmly.
I will use "Marugoto" or "Genki" or "Minnano Nihongo".
Feel free to tell me if you prefer to learn from another textbook. (if it is a textbook I can get.)
プレゼンテーションスライド(PPT）を使って、ひとつひとつわかりやすくていねいに教えます。
基本的には会話が中心ですが、文法もしっかり教えます。
テキストは「まるごと」「げんき」「みんなのにほんご」を使う予定です。

日本語教育能力検定 - 日本国際教育支援協会 - 2021日本語教師になるための検定試験で、これに合格することにより日本政府から告示を受けた日本語学校で日本語を教えることが可能になる。

I am having so much fun learning with Emi sensei! It truly makes my day brighter. Emi sensei has an amazing sense of figuring out where a person is at in their learning process and zooms in to a sweet spot where you are challenged but not overwhelmed. For the longest time I was afraid to learn with a sensei because I didn't feel confident in my own learning ability - but Emi sensei's excellent tutoring makes the hour pass so quickly like learning and laughing with a friend. Wish I started earlier!

Emi-san is an amazing teacher! She thoroughly explains everything and is full of positivity. During our lesson she made Japanese extremely easy to understand and would practice pre-made conversations as well as listening/ dissecting audios. I highly recommend her if you’re interested in learning Japanese.
