Hello there! I'm Sunay, a 21-year-old student who studies English Language Teaching and enjoys learning languages. I love the feeling of comprehending what others are saying. Learning foreign languages is like having a window that allows you to see the entire world. So language teaching is my passion. Furthermore, I enjoy interacting with others and learning from them. I believe that being a teacher is something vital. I've always had good luck with teachers, and I've known teachers who have had an impact on my life. As a result of this realization, I decided to pursue a career as a teacher. That's why there are so many important points that I consider important and pay attention to. Some of the most important aspects are to smile, to motivate, and to understand. Instead of listing the rules and telling students to memorize them, I try to present information that they will use in everyday life using a variety of techniques. My lessons are tailored to the needs of my students, and I choose the method based on their objectives and deficiencies. At this point, it is also critical to get to know the student, even if only a little bit, because not everyone learns in the same way. I have been studying Turkish with Sunay for almost three months now, and I have been really enjoying it! Sunay is a fabulous teacher. Her English is excellent and she has a strong understanding of grammar (better than most native English speakers), which has really helped me make connections between English and Turkish. She has been very reliable, only needing to reschedule lessons on rare occasion and always communicating that in advance. Sunay has been very accomodating to my needs. When I asked if we could use a particular text that I had previously purchased, she had no hesitation switching from her standard workbook. On top of her professionalism, Sunay has a great personality. She is a kind and encouraging teacher. Every 45 minute lesson that I have had with her has flown by - which says a lot! She has made learning a new and challenging language very enjoyable for me. I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in learning Turkish!
