Hello! My name is Hannah and I’m from the United States! I grew up in sunny Los Angeles, California where I also received my Bachelor’s Degree in Illustration.
I lived and taught English in South Korea for about 5 years.
I just moved to Japan to continue my own education in illustration!
I also have experience trying to learn other languages - so I understand the difficulty!
With my experience I can talk freely about a range of topics and can find new ways to engage in conversation~Moi en tant que professeur
I have taught many different kinds of people! College students, businessmen, medical professionals, you name it!
In addition to adults I have also taught children. I worked at a private elementary school in Seoul and taught grades 1, 3, and 5 so I am familiar with a range of ages.
I have also received a 120 hour TEFL (teaching english as a foreign language) certificate!
I specialize in conversational and practical English. I want to encourage you to feel confident in your speaking and to not to worry about making mistakes! English is a language spoken by many different people from around the world so it is always changing.Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
In my classroom we will have flexible lessons depending on what you’re interested in learning! I want to emphasize conversational English and getting used to speaking and explaining your own ideas.
I believe the best way to learn grammar and vocabulary is by doing and repetition, so I will encourage you to speak, finish sentences, and make your own sentences!

Hannah is an excellent teacher. I've been working with her for two months, with 4 or 5 lessons per week. It is really worth it for every lesson. I write down whatever I want to say or what I think about any random topic before the class on our Google docs, and she corrects and explains any mistakes I made,and we do conversation practice which I need a lot of.
I am learning a lot every class, so I can't stop taking her class.
I would recommend her!!!
