i have recommended lorena to 4 friends, because there is no better teacher at meeting you at your spanish level, while also slowly challenging your vocabularly and conjugation. she makes good conversation, has interesting visual aids that prompt discussion, and is especially good at dealing with spanglish -- the crazy phrases and words we use when we're learning spanish -- she can figure it out. you won't find a better teacher.

Excellent! Lorena is very attentive to her student's needs. She is also very flexible with a great variety of very suitable exercises. Highly recommended!

Lorena adjusted her schedule to accommodate mine, a very good benefit. She was courteous and helpful. I am doing the long slog through the subjunctive which is very hard and seems to have a million rules and exceptions to rules. Lorena can explain all this in Spanish or English. Five Star all the way.

She is an amazing teacher who is patient and understanding and very knowledgable about many subject matters.

I want to improve in my conversation but long stories are super challenging. I struggle with sufficient vocabulary and verb tense to tell stories and with most people it would be embarrassing but Lorena shows not only patience, but continues to show interest and support but without too much interruption or grammar correction. She helps when I am clearly asking for a word, but otherwise let's me search my brain or talk around the word I don't know. It really allows me to practice above my skill level and grow in my language capability. <3

Lorena is exactly what I've needed for a Spanish teacher and conversational practice partner. She gives simple exercises that aren't overly intimidating, tracks my progress well, and brings in new elements when I'm ready and confident. She is also sincere and personable which makes the sessions and conversations extra enjoyable and authentic.
