Languages have always been my passion and I enjoy both learning and teaching them. I want to motivate everyone to learn and practise languages. In my opinion, everyone can learn a language no matter how old the person is, where the person comes from and if the person is monolingual or bilingual. Dutch, Swedish and Norwegian are some of the languages I like very much and Bulgarian is my mother tongue. I would be happy to help improving students' level of these languages. I am interested in music, literature, traveling and meeting new people. I am always open to learn new things for example about new cultures and I would be glad to have the opportunity to learn many things from my students.Moi en tant que professeur

My main purpose is to teach in an entertaining way so that students do not get bored of my lessons. My aim is not only to teach grammar rules but also to include interesting texts, songs, conversations, poems etc. in my lessons. Oral communication is one of the most essential aspects of language learning. I will emphasise on conversational skills when teaching Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian and Bulgarian, and I want to motivate my students to start speaking these languages as early as possible.Mes ressources d'enseignement

Vandaag hadden de leraar en de student een gesprek over een roman die de student had gelezen. De student vond het erg moeilijk om zijn ideeën uit te leggen, maar de leraar was altijd geduldig. De volgende keer zal hij proberen zich beter voor te bereiden. Dank je wel Helga!

Helga is a truly skilled teacher. She has very gently nudged me towards practicing and improving one issue each time we meet. This time the issue was noun classes in Dutch, where there are het-words and de-words. Because of her I finally feel as if I am making a bit of progress. I have at least gotten into the habit of asking myself "het or de" every time I use a noun. I enthusiastically recommend Helga to anyone who is learning Dutch.
