Hello, my name is Thandeka and I am a native English teacher with 3 years experience from South Africa. I love meeting new people and learning about their different cultures & languages. I have 3 years experience of teaching English and have a 120-hour TEFL certificate. I love creating a safe environment for my students where they can learn, be comfortable, have fun and grow while gaining some knowledge. As a passionate teacher, I love witnessing my students' progress over time. My lessons are student orientated so which ever English skill a student might be in need of I will adjust and provide the necessary learning materials & methods for their convenience. I believe that a language should not be studied from memory, with boring grammatical descriptions and large vocabulary lists. As a teacher, I try to transmit the language through conversation on topics that really interest the student, and I firmly believe that a language can be learned effectively in this way. I believe that every one is unique and therefore have different preferences so I provide different learning materials and methods to accommodate all. If a student prefers working with comprehensions or quizzes or tests or visual boards, I adapt in order to deliver the best because the aim is for my students to excel and master the art of English.Mes ressources d'enseignement
